Grand Cru Selections Tasting (Eventi Hotel - New York NY) : Walkaround tasting with producers. Citrus and orchard fruit with some reticence and reserve, lots of polish. Good density. Better to cellar for a year or three.

demure and subtle on the nose, crushed stones, oyster shells, herbs, citrus, just a touch of something lactic... intense and incisive on the palate, glaringly primary, deep and strong acid structure, tight and tense, it opened up over the course of an hour and a half, and became more fruity, supple and friendly, but this clearly needs a year or two, or maybe 5, to soften and broaden... only 11.7% abv, but there's great intensity on this light frame
