Rich orange fruit, full, almond finish, very nice. Bit too civilised

2023 vintage

Family owned, estate grown, single vineyard Verdicchio from its optimal terroir. It has golden rich color. It’s rich, complex and mouth coating. Leaves peach and pineapple impression. Intense though civilized. Evolves nicely as it warms and we drink down the glass to some grapefruit, lemon and green apple.

Honeyed pear and golden delicious apples, saline, almond, pie crust m+ int, Granny Smith, lime, mandarin peel, beeswax, saline, honey, juicy m+ acidity, fleshy m+ body mouthfeel, luscious long ripe pear finish Excellent qpr, though a touch too cloying to be in perfect balance

aperto e servito. intenso e fruttato pera e mela golden, erbe aromatiche, macchia mediterranea, bergamotto e mandorla verde. Buona struttura, calore che si fa sentire, acidità vivace, e buon allungo finale con aromi di mandorla da manuale

Two Months in Roma; 9/6/2022-10/28/2022 (Rome, Italy) : After dinner drinks on the terrace. First time with this producer. I quite enjoyed this good balance, fruit acid and minerals- some nutty notes on the finish.

Age has been kind to this wine and brought some richness/nuttiness to the nose and body. Nose: floral, slightly honeyed apple skins. Palate: apple skins, citrus, stone fruit, bitter almonds.

nice Verdicchio with a top PQR at 12€, complex and scented, but at the same time straight and elegant. Ready to drink, with aditional cellaring possibly adding some depth

Same as before (nuts, apricots, apple, mineral)... but today the alcohol and acid were front and center (even with a slight chill) and everything else was muted. After opening for a bit, there was even a bitter green element. This may be going through a dumb period, and I will be holding off on my remaining stock for a bit now.

young but ready to drink with pale yellow color and valuable scents of white flowers; at the palate is consistent with notes of acacia and some aromatic herbes, and releases a pleasant mouthfilling taste with some salinity in the background. Top QPR

2018 vintage

PnP. Clear medium lemon colour. Clean medium(+) intensity with aromas of melon peach bruised apple almond and elderflower. Dry. Medium alcohol. Medium(+) acidity. Medium(+) intensity with flavours of peach melon touch of beeswax and almond. Medium finish. Very good. Drink now suitable for further ageing. Like the complexity and balance. Has some flesh with a racy finish.

Nutty, apricot, applesauce. Nice deft touch of minerality on the palate. Can't see it going anywhere for a while. Top QPR.

Popped and poured. Rich apricot/pear aroma with a bit of funk. Clean, vibrant flavors of pear, citrus, minerals. Slight bitter herb notes in the finish. Lively, young, firm backbone, well integrated, some complexity, great staying power. Excellent QPR.

Continues to be an excellent value. Apricot and herbs aroma, very light lemon color. Tropical fruit flavor profile, a bit of residual sugar. Delightful.

I think my first time trying this wine - richer/more full-bodied than a Pinot Grigio, with a nice crisp accent on the nose. Good for an aperitif or casual drinking.
