Dinner at the Fat Duck (Bray, Berkshire) : A good but not really a memorable Toakji. Nothing wrong or out of sync but nothing special either. 91 at best

An odd nose - sort of strange, spirity pencil shavings. Is there something wrong with this? The man from Hungarian Food & Wine says not. Ok then. Well, despite the dodgy nose, on the palate, it's a decent, fairly old-fashioned Tokay. But it lacks the elegance of the best examples.

Tons of Botrytis, the almond, Sauternes style of botrytis, not the black tea - Austrian type. some raisins, but much less than usual in a Tokay. Also the color was much lighter than expected. Nonetheless a good wine that resembled more a Sauternes than a Tokay. Apparently Chateau Imperial is not really famous, as neither WA nor WS did review any wine from it, but I liked it.

Mixed blindtasting (Finn's appartment) : Light amber color. Exciting nose with nuances of apricots, wine gums, coconut, honey, cream caramel and rubber. On the palate it is dominated by oak, covering the first impression of fat apricots with vanilla. But becomes a bit hollow on the midpalate and finish.
