nose: pretty restrained...but if you dig there's blueberry skins, tar, forest palate: very concentrated and tannic. blueberries and wood. im not too familiar with petit verdot but it may still be too young. there's a lot of numbing licorice action towards the finish and super dark chocolate texture/bitterness that hangs around. interesting but not entirely pleasant. it may soften gracefully
