Tasted blind. Very strong nose, red and black fruit, herbal/spiced notes. Very interesting palate, slightly sweet, low tannins, absolutely coats the palate but not because its viscious, long finish. Very light, delicate. Looks aged due to the almost tawny type colour but guessed it was 5 years old. I liked.

Jeroboams Barolo 2019 tasting : Another winner from Guido Porro: refinement, complexity and balance. It has a subtlety the other wines in the range can't quite match, underlaid with class and power to the fruit weight, intriguing balsamic notes. Serious structure to age here.
