Absolutely worth the price, and worth the effort to try at that price. Be prepared for the hotter 50% ABV, it's worth experimenting with varied amounts of water, and maybe even select single malts depending on your interests.

This is a total no brainer at $25. With its 50% alc, it is effectively $20. Fresh peat, sweet pear, acacia honey, smoke, and earth components come through in this well balanced young spirit. Don't expect it to taste like a good $80 Scotch, but it sure beats many basic single malts, even some in $50 to $60 range. K&L spirits buyers got some serious talent.
