This was great!! Lovely gold color. Complex and well balanced. Could mistake for a high-end White Burg. Prime drinking window.

Medium gold color. Apples, lemongrass, and camomile on the nose and palate. Great complexity, texture, and depth. Well made. Super long finish. Really good!

This is a medium yellow colored wine with a slight haze. The palate is a complex mixture of apricot, mint, almonds, lime, and tropical fruit. The body is ample along with a rich consistency. The structure is robust with a long finish that contains a gentle bit of perceived sweetness. This is a big Cali style of chardonnay rather than a more elegant Burgundian style. This wine did improve with an hour in the glass along with some warming from …

Just like a bottle consumed earlier this year. I took it to a dinner party. It was a crowd pleaser and went quickly. I echo comments from the earlier bottle......complex and interesting but not buttery.

This is a very good Chardonnay. A touch of sweetness without being buttery. A set of subtle tart notes in the background.

Popped and poured. Enticing golden yellow color. Nose is chock-full of all the things you could want in a great Cali chardonnay: honey, butter, bread, apples and more. An orchard and dairy in a bottle. Flavors deliver the same sensations but with a welcome acid backbone to keep everything in harmony and keep the wine from tending toward fatnesss or overextraction. Clearly Cali, but not over the top like so many others who deliver such overt ripe orchard fruit. 5-13-17-9: …

Quite lovely. Medium yellow, viscous. Enticing nose of tropical fruit and vanilla; screams Cali but that is OK, because this also shows restraint and is nowhere near fat or overblown, either on the nose or in the mouth. It is rare to find a nice ripe fruit wine like this to have such finely tuned acid backbone. Supremely balanced, and long, long finish. Martinelli continues to show mastery with this grape. 5-13-17-9: 94/100

This is like butter in a glass...buttered popcorn? Not to disparage it in any way...it is not overly oaky, just rich and luscious with herbal/piney nuances, but wow...the butter hit me first! Followed by toasted marshmallow on the nose. Interesting to see how it evolves over a few days.
