forest floor and a hint of balsam on the nose. Light to medium bodied, elegant mouth feel, smooth tannins. Not overly complex on the palette: sour cherry, sweet tobacco, hint of black pepper and plum. Pleasant finish. Would be interesting to try it in five years, no more than 10, but it's drinking well now. Old world, old school, straight forward but elegant.

PNP at restaurant. Very good, but lacked the depth and elegance of the 2012 Lozio the preceded this bottle.
