Deep amber; initially flat/tired this opens up to a flamboyant, extravagant nose; a mix of over-extended & explosive, this waxes & wanes (24 hours on remains potent). I suspect this is the equivalent of a modern-day TPG VT - it has a sweetness to the fore, with a dry edge to the imposing finish. Extraordinary (in the true sense).

Full gold; round and honeyed, fabulous acidity, tangerine, intense and lively, spicy depth, beautiful length, VT power and richness, a bit hard in youth, now a mature pleasure. Drink now - 2015. Resembles a 30 year old BA the next day. Full marks.

Rich, golden colour, beautiful legs; wonderful, rich nose of honey, peaches and smoke, deep and harmonious; on the palate rich and intense, concentrated and fleshy, medium-sweet, juicy, balanced perfectly by lively, tingling acidity; very long, aromatic, relatively dry finish, complete. Reminiscent of a great Pfalz Auslese (almost BA weight). Delicious now and should last until 2010+.
