Man what a wine. Always. So balanced, toasted dark fruits, charcoal, minerals, crushed rocks, tobacco with some amazing texture, acidity and finish. Incredible wine as always.

Melka firing away on all cylinders. Notes of roasted dark berry fruit, hot stones, pavement, iron, lit tobacco, mountain minty herbs, and dark cocoa. Nice elegant tannins on long finish. Beautiful wine 97+

Gorgeous wine that was brought so kindly by my friend Ian. H2H vs Adversity Melanson I think I loved it more than anyone. My wifey and Ian thought it was a little astringent at the finish but I didn't that. Besides it had a lot going for it. Less bodied than Melanson but that's expected. Nice blue and purple fruit, espresso, graphite, minerals, nice finish. Cheers!

Going on 2 hr decant. The eucalyptus. Oh my the eucalyptus. So pretty. So potent. Married to dense Dark Pritchard Hill fruit, crushed red rocks, espresso, melted black licorice, tobacco leaf and striking minerality. Spectacular mix of fruit and terroir. Medium to medium +, Great finish.

Needed a 4 hour decant. Very smooth and integrated. Fruity and smoky profile. Suggest drinking with lighter steaks or chicken. Stronger foods would overwhelm the elegance of this wine.

Purple/magenta. Oh this is so darn delicious! Love the prominent notes of eucalyptus (@Carlos S), thin mints, dark chocolate chunks, charred licorice, black pepper, espresso and semi-brooding rich black fruits! Not only the top notch fruit but there is a slight feral quality. Everything is balanced to perfection from the acidity to the bright tannins.

A little dry

Thanksgiving Napa tasting (Napa Grill (Zurich)) : Not overly expressive, but with nice attention to detail. Sweet notes of ginger bread, red currant, blueberry and cherry. Fresh and juicy, good structure in decent balance even if clearly still a baby.
