Azienda Agricola Plozner Friuli Grave Pinot Nero

Ruby. Raspberry, cranberry and herbs. Mid-bodied, vegetal and tanic with weak fruit and short finish.

Medium garnet, transparent, not particularly bright. Vegetal nose reminiscent of geraniums. Roasted coffee beans, minerality and ripe red fruit. Some burnt sugar also. Not a particularly fine nose. Medium to light body, has hints of CO2. Not very flavourful. And short. Old wood from barell very evident. Bitter, with quite low acidity.
