Steve Bird Pinot Noir Big Barrel Old Schoolhouse Vineyard

Best bottle of this I've had yet combining red fruits, black cherry, rose petals and faintly smoky elements in a very elegant and drinkable package. Best thing about it is that it's under screwcap and costs about US$20, easily the best value Pinot I've ever come across.

Consistent as ever with bright black cherry and raspberry flavours over hints of cinnamon and a faint woody element on the back end. Silky and easy to drink, great value.

Very enjoyable once again. Bright red fruits, some cinnamon and pretty floral notes in a silky, elegant package that's well balanced with bright acidity and very easy to drink.

Clear ruby red colour with a lovely nose showing sweet red fruited flavours, earth and hints of cinnamon and clove. Silky and medium bodied on the palate with bright acidity giving it lift and flavours of strawberry, black cherry and spices. Finishes elegant and clean, showing no sign of the 14.5% alcohol indicated on the bottle. Well balanced and very enjoyable.
