Prior bottle was just over 11 months ago and this wine continues to drink quite well. Black cherry, blackberry, black raspberry and spices continue to make up the nose. Between medium and full bodied with a very similar fruit profile of black cherry and blackberry. Upfront, the expression may have gotten a touch more open and rounded while the mid-body continues to show slightly better depth than the 2013. A beauty, and not showing any “aged”/tertiary characteristics either. Big and packed with delicious fresh fruit of cherries and blackberries. The back end mineral and acidity streak is mild, yet provides superb balance and keeps this wine light on its feet, not heavy.

Big on the yum factor. Full bodied, deep and dynamic. Just a touch of boisenberry on the nose but a classic Cali Pinot profile. Served against a grilled pork tenderloin and that was a good match. Drinking well now, I'd say at peak.

Ruby red in color. 14.3% ABV. Gorgeous nose of red fruits, cloves, cola and forest floor. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Fruit forward and well balanced. Incredibly rich and silky. Black cherry, black raspberry, orange rind and mushrooms on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Classy Pinot Noir that has you longing for another glass. Best over the next several years.

Agree with some other reviews. This is big and rich. Lots of fruit and great nose. Alcohol was in check for this bottle. Lacked a brightness many other RM Pinots have. Not sure if this ages much further.

Apparently it has been 3.5 years since our last bottle Opened this for Christmas dinner. It was the first red after a Chard and it was excellent. Great Red fruit and orange peel on the nose, with a brightness and energy. The palate features red fruit, wet forest floor, and some mushrooms. There is nice lift too. Very lovely.

So much to write home about. Lovely in the glass. Red fruits and orange peel up front, that sting the nostrils, in a good way. Very smooth across the palate, still high acid throughout. Pleasant red fruits, cherry, raspberry with more orange peel. Finishes with orange-chocolate, rich. This is a big, fruity, high-acid Pinot. Lovely, and lively.

Our first RM Pinot and we are impressed. We paired it with a fantastic leg of lamb we cooked slowly. Perfect pairing. This pinot has substance, from the nose through to the finish. Beautifully balanced, we decanted for 30 minutes and it was raring to go. All the bright red fruits but also some earthiness to it that stood up to and enhanced the lamb. Glad we started buying these and have many more in the cellar!
