Wild Earth Pinot Noir Deep Cove

This is a tasting impression written a fortnight or so after consumption. Delicious Pinot, no signs of tiredness, deeply juicy and flavoursome. I bought six.

Dark-fruited and only somewhat varietal, fairly big bodied, sappy and modest acidity. This wine pairs well with lamb but would be hard to peg as Pinot Noir blind. Perhaps the closest resemblance is to the Pinots from the Santa Rita Hills in California.
