Vanilla, liquorice, black fruits, plum, sour cherries, marmalade, sweet cinnamon, coconut, round and spicy bitter finish. A really nice complex wine, with varying shades and tones. The notes kept changing as I twirl the glasses … it is a singing wine , just as its name. Beautiful structure , with fine tannins and fruity acid. Full bodied, but gentle viscosity. Even at 14.5% alcohol, the aroma , and palate stand out. This wine is a gem find at this price …

This is really good wine and a great QPR. Dark, inky ruby red with purple highlights. Fairly full body with ripe silky tannins. The nose is excellent and shares similarities with the only other Coonawarra wines I’ve had (Wynns black label and the siding) - dark berries, plum, blackcurrant, along with that minty/eucalyptus note. Flavours are similar. Very balanced. I imagine this would age nicely for a handful of years.

This is standard Cabernet; there's nothing wrong with it, but nothing notable either. This was an average value at about $15.

Gorgeous. Mulberry, blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry bush, mint. Dusting of grippy tannin, excellent balance, and enough length.
