Last bottle of a six pack and surprise surprise this was the best of what has been a highly variable bunch. Here the wine actually felt like it was knitted together, pale in colour and was delightful new world Chardonnay.

Definitely the best so far of what has been a real mixed bag. The acidity meant that this came across as citrus lean but there was sufficient body to make this very palatable

Well the good news was at least that this bottle was in decent condition compared to last week but I remain unconvinced about this wine. On the back label it proclaims the unique climatic conditions in the area 650km south of Santiago that preserve the natural acidity. Well I found the acidity and alcohol totally out of balance. Sour and excess acidity resulted in the near total absence of fruit. This tasted clumsy

My gut feeling is that this wine was a good but not outstanding Chardonnay. Quite full on the palate but for me it lacked elegance

Delicious and complex nose. Only a slight hint of butter and also some green notes (such as asparragus) that I connect more to Sauvignon Blanc than to Chardonnay (my secret sources consulted after tasting tell me that there is indeed some Sauvignon Blanc in this wine ;) Excellent taste, juicy, excellent acidity and length.

quite possibly the best and most interesting bottle of Chilean white i've had yet… …delightful nose of green grass, white peaches, and wisps of white roses. in the mouth it's silky and fresh, with white fruit and citrusy flavours anchored by an earthy minerality and subtle oaky tones. moderately long finish with hints of complexity… great ageing potential there; and tried as i did, was not able to secure another bottle in pandemic-disrupted Santiago… …its lingering impression led to ferret …

Servi à l'aveugle. Vin pâle et légèrement doré. Nez superbe, frais, très agrumes sans être grossier, minéral et tendu. En bouche les saveurs s'y retrouve, mais tombent un peu à plat. Avec l'air, il reprend un peu de vigueur. Un vin qui fait jeune à mon avis et confirmé par ce que je connais aux vins du Chili. Très bien. 89-91

It is nice and fruity on the nose with pineapple, green apple and mild scents of vanilla. On the palate, this has nice acidity and texture, but I thought a bit disjointed. I prefer the 2008 Concha y Toro Amelia to this one. This is good wine, but a bit overpriced. 88+

A medium lemon colored wine with a watery rim. Youthful on the nose with aromas of lemons, pears, a little green apple and robust minerality. This is a dry wine with medium+ acidity, medium body and medium alcohol. The flavors are nicely balanced with crisp lemon, bartlett pears, some lime zest, clean minerality and a hint of pineapple.
