Not exactly worth the price point but very tasty. Beautiful color, nice body, nice balance of honey, acid, and fruit.

On the nose- Big rich and lush citrus, grapefruit, honeydew melon, petrol, honey, white pepper, vegetal tone, mint, white flowers, alcohol. On the palate- Big rich and lush citrus and grapefruit, honeydew melon and petrol, honey and white pepper, vegetal tone and mint, white flowers and a warmth of alcohol on the finish. This finish was long and lush but had a nice hint of acidity to hold it together. This was out of Magnum and could age another decade …

USA red 2001 and 2002 plus excellent whites by Jeroen (@ Broederenklooster in Zutphen) : Creamy yellow fruits in the bouquet. Same on the palate, full bodied and concentrated with lovely fresh acidity, great complexity and length.

First bottle was flawed—very disappointed about that. Second bottle was fine, but this is not really my style. It seemed like there was just too much going on there. I prefer a crisp well done Sauvignon Blanc.

Popped and poured. Deep color. A little awkward and clunky. Tangerine and melon with a rounded, heavy texture.

The 38% Roussanne comes through in both the dark yellow color and on the nose and palate. Round tropical fruit notes, gentle acidity, smooth mouthfeel, robust body, long finish. This is an impressive wine.

The first nose is green peppers, vegetable. The second is big and bold. Wood. Well followed by the palate. A firework of napa Chardonnay (despite not being from there!), simply amazing. and yet very special.

Had it blind at our monthly CWG. I thought it was a Bordeaux blend about 10 years old. Not too bad but thousands of miles apart. My girlfriend decanted it for 1 hour and they it was open for about 2 more hours before we started the tasting. This is one of the best white wines I have ever had, it gave me similar pleasure like the 2012 E. Guigal Ermitage Ex-Voto we had a few years ago. Great complexity, …

Hard to describe - really unique white wine. Incredible complexity, med/full body, immense finish for a white, coming in part I think from its very high ABV (15.2% ). Loved it. Decanted three hours.

Deep gold in colour and clear. This wine had a strong nose and flavours of caramel and honey. In the glass were also apricots. This wine was quite crisp with quite a bit of acidity. This bottle appears to be getting better with some age and it showed as the best bottle of the few that I have tasted.

Wow this is a different wine! Grapefruit, vanilla, citrus flowers, it's really unctuous too. This is something else!

decanted for a few hours - still could have been opened longer, but showed lovely floral notes and a honeyed tone to complement the dried peach and pear notes.

Wow - just wow. I have never had a bottle of Sine Qua Non that wasn't something very special, but this is one of my favs. Citrus on the nose. Grapefruit, honey and mint on the palate. A glacial finish. Wonderfully integrated flavors that form a very complex mouthful. We drank it with herbed crabcakes from a master chef on a sailboat in the Bahamas. Anything may have tasted good in a situation like that, but this wine was as …

38% Roussanne, 31% Petit Manseng, 18% Chardonnay, 9% Viognier, & 4% Muscat. Pure balance...rich with waxy, floral, tropical fruits, creamy peach, apricot marmalade...SO mouth coating with viscosity, yet CUT with tangerine squeeze acidity...crushed rocks salinity...exotics of toasted marshmallow, dried apricot, white honey butter, hot buttered rum spice...such a tantalizing wine in perfect pleasure zone right now...yet many more years of hedonism to come. Too bad I'm out now. :-(

For me, this falls in between 2016 (more truffle and savory vibe) and 2018 (tropical and creamy) perfectly. The 2016 seems to really want a decant, and while this would have potentially been a bit more open, it was ready to party at pop. 38 roussanne/ 31 petit manseng/ 18 chard/9 Viognier/4 Muscat. Straw, almost gold in the glass. There’s a lemon cream note initially before it turns more spiced pear and truffle honey. Texturally divine. The roussanne really sizzles …

Another thoroughly enjoyable SQN white. A really good example of a white Rhone blend, with maybe some non-standard grapes that give it a little more body and sweetness.

Unfortunately, my only bottle. I thought this was absolutely delicious! So much going on with this wine (I agree 100% with Rocknroller....for a change!) Tropical fruit with poached pear, some lemon curd, and as RnR said, very layered. I also liked the waxy/oily mouthfeel. the alcohol was undetectable for me. I wish I had more of this (may even seek out a bottle or two!) Solid 95 for me, and I feel even that may be conservative compared to the …

Monthly Tasting Group: Blind Worldwide Chardonnay (COV, Edina, MN) : Light medium gold color. Drank a small glass over 30 minutes. An interesting blend of 38% Rousanne, 31% Petiti Mensang, 18% Chard, 9% Viognier, & 4% Muscat. This was really was quite lovely. Boy, there;s a lot to unpack here; great nose, suave, rich, layered in golden pear, tropical fruits and lush lemon, well defined, tingly dry stone minerality and an oily, vivid texture and long finish. Some commented on …

Pop and pour. Aromas of honeysuckle, crushed rock, beeswax, smoke and lemon pie. Flavors of quince, roasted nuts, lemon pie, mineral and papaya. Ends with a long finish of 40+ seconds with smoke, lemon and nut notes. Probably a bit cold but will update if it warms up. Don't sense as much Viognier as the last SQN white I had.

A few years since last bottle and it’s making a little more sense Alcohol still well hidden and intergrated - on nose and palate I’m reminded in parts of a craft beer - Simcoe and Mosaic hops (maybe Citra) like a mango feel with touch of skin / bitterness. Good acidity abd lift. Still not entirely sure about it

This wine was made deep yellow in colour and clear. It had a strong nose of lemony citrus. In the glass were flavours of lemons mixed with some oranges, brown sugar and a hint of smoke. The wine was slightly tangy.

Decanted for 50 minutes. Very ripe and almost bubblegum-like. Flinty. Lots of vanilla and very buttery. But the palate felt a little short.
