Dried cherry, cranberry, coffee. Solid, adequate finish. Morphed over time with a bit of minerals and raspberry jam. Held it's own with beef stroganoff, but would have preferred duck or chicken. From a half. Underrated.

375ml. Clean cork pull with a corkscrew. Pale, ruby, rust colors. Full floral + fruit + spice nose: beautiful. Plenty of fruit up front, morello cherry and blood orange. Good tartness. Very smooth middle with baking spices, particularly cinnamon. Finish is medium on decent acidity. Second glass 2 hours after pop, not a lot of change.

375 ml. The wine began with an earthy, Burgundian bouquet on the nose before moving to a wonderfully pure and focused palate and velvety finish.
