Whoa. Aromas of cherry, berry, vanilla and soy. Deep inky blue-black color. Distinct legs. Wonderful, lasting finish. Full-bodied, flavorful with just a hint of blueberry, very light jam. Excellent with beef. Almost as much impact on Day 2, which is a plus. Will seek out future vintages. One of the best domestic Malbecs I have tasted. One heads-up: this wine throws sediment. Consider leaving bottle upright for at least 8-12 hours before serving. Ready to drink, but I wish I …

Medium garnet in color and in body, with aromas of strawberry-cherry and a touch of smoke. Palate is a New World version of a SuperT blend (Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah, Carmenere, etc.), showing black and red cherry flavors, along with notes of tobacco and sweet spice. Still feels young in bottle, with a bit of typical acerbic acidity, grippy tannins, but finishes medium-long and very pleasant. Might give it a couple more years to mature and integrate a bit more.

Medium garnet red. Pleasant fruit nose with associate flavors. Generally fruit forward, balanced and easy to drink. Good POP wine for everday enjoyment

Black-purple tooth-staining opaque color in glass. Big aromas of blackberry pie and woodsmoke flow to palate with a basket of black fruit flavors, a touch of new oak (but not overdone), some dusty tannins and a rich mouthfeel that somehow doesn't become jammy or cloying. Sort of in the style of Jaysen Woodbridge's Layer Cake, but better integrated and balanced. 14.9% ABV on label, but doesn't feel hot or over-alc'd at all, just rich and delicious in a big-Cal way.
