Garnacha Peluda "Hairy Granache" from Terra Alta, a rare Catalonia mutation & little brother of Southern Rhone Granache according to the WWW. Drunk over 48 hours (under argon) & was definitely more balanced & somewhat more fruit driven at the end. After 1 hour (84-85) in the glass unbalanced with drying tannins & acidity dominant although still drinkable with muted red fruit there in the background. Big fruit on the nose but a muted taste for me, didn’t really get the complexity I was hoping for from this blend. Still pleasant enough but not a favorite and wouldn’t buy again.

Рубиновый цвет средней плотности. В аромате свежие чёрные ягоды, чёрный перец, ваниль, лакричные ноты, сухие листья, табак, уголь, со временем появились сливки и кожа. Во вкусе плотное, насыщенное, фруктовое, интенсивные танины, умеренная кислотность. Приятное и дружелюбное вино. 89/100
