Seems to be house style to be dark, deeply extracted color; smokey Malbec nose, lots of tannins and acids swirling round black fruit - needs time to soften

Not as dark and robust as the Supernova, but quite fruity and smooth. Black cherry, earth, chocolate.

Dark, somewhat opaque color and dark fruits on the nose. On the palate it's quite acidic, even after a few hours of air. Nice varietal flavors, but it's unbalanced. Other than this, it would be stellar, but in it's currently unbalanced state, it's just a good quaff.

January in Walla Walla; 1/25/2013-1/27/2013 (Walla Walla, WA) : Nose is cherry, smoke, and licorice. Flavors are dark fruit and bar be queued steak with a solid tannic backbone. There's a bit more acid than I would like, which comes through in the finish. However, it seems like it will age well.

APPEARANCE: Dark purple, medium-bodied with long, fast legs AROMA: Cedar, blueberries, and subtle spices TASTE: Extremely smooth and delicious
