Corte Sant'Alda Valpolicella Superiore

Pleasant full body drinking. It does however not have the real depth that I was hoping for. It is fully developed. Tannins are fully integrated. It is powerful, but while the fruit and tannins are there I am not sure there is enough acidity to develop into much more in the long run. Good wine nonetheless.

A great Amarone from a great vintage. Really love this wine, more elegant and finess compared with many others. We decanted two glasses for 1,5 h, but the acidity was more precence when we drank it directly from the bottle, so no need for decanting. I don’t think this wine will improve any more, it’s perfect right now.

Very powerful wine, with lots of dark fruit, sweet spices, liquorice and some tar. With acidity to still be kept for some years.

Black pepper, spice, and yes, full bore power. Yet soft and very smooth. Much more sophisticated than Bussola. Also tightly young. Shows easy drinking but you can tell

blue fruit off the nose with light anise lift. nose suggests quite the accessibility, while the palate shows power. rich dark plum on the palate with out becoming raisin.
