Beyond its time. There was a bitter oxidation of the Sauvignon Blanc that took away from what was a wonder SB. Smooth and buttery but still with a tart edge the middle was mouth filling and showed all the flavors. The finish was a nice dry finish that showed a touch of sweet fruit. If you still have this wine, its time to drink it.

Nice smooth and tasty. The wine is what an American SB should be. Balance is super and the finish is smooth and holds a slight sweetness that shows the fruit nicely

Past its prime. I should have opened this a long time ago. The nose is still a nice typical sauv blanc. Grapefruit, pineapple, mango with underlying minerality. The acidity is mostly gone so this comes across a bit flabby and unstructured. Just a bit of fruit. Short uninteresting finish.

This wine overwhelms the palate. Very acidic; doesn't pair well with food; not good for sipping either.

In our cellar, party for Lauren G. Opened this for the non Chardonnay drinkers. Drank over two nights, even better on Day 2 Crisp and fresh profile on the front palate: citrus, grapefruit, lime, orange zest. Creamy back palate, nice texture. Drank over two days, drinks very well with a nice chill on it, flavors still come through

Smooth but complex. Almost like a Chardonnay with nice citrus and butter flavors but with a bit of sharpness at the finish.

Coming to the end of the road, decent but nothing special, the deep citrus flavors have evaporated, more of a peach flavor.

Yellow fruits, wet soil, papaya/tropical fruits and graham cracker on the nose. Good mouth feel, follows the nose, medium dry, no oak flavours to speak of. Balanced alcohol and surprisingly fresh fruit. Falls a bit apart with air, but still a solid SB from Napa

Purchased the wrong vintage. Nevertheless this was nice and mild SB, perhaps slightly tired but still quite drinkable.

Past it's prime I fear. Lots of flavor still but all muddled. Nice luxurious mouthfeel but almost no complexity left. The wine looks yellow brown colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is medium. The wine has fleshy texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

Really nice stuff...great flavour profile, lemon, orange peel, good citrus taste, but silky and smooth texture. Nice finish as well. I am a fan.

Not a stand out, kind of dry/tart, with muted fruit that gets some nose as it warms past it's prime drinking temp. Tried it with multiple foods, including basil pesto chicken. Purchased for $20-, and I would not buy again.

Warm weather Sauvignon blanc. Apple, peach and vanilla notes. A little light on the acid balance for a Sb, but worked well with seafood. Nice wine for the money.

Lemon and grapefruit on the nose and palate. Very acidic and crisp with a long finish. It was very good, but there are Sauvignon Blancs of comparable quality for half the price.

Tasted at the winery. One of the nicer SB's I tasted during my recent Napa/Sonoma winery tours. Very balanced, with flavors and aromas of tropical fruit, some stoney minerality, peach, and orange blossom. Crisp with great acidity and a great finish.

Rather like a chardonnay, indeed. Tropical fruit and ripe citrus but lacking in acidity/crispness for my taste. Smooth, summery and seemed sweet for a sauvignon blanc. Not outstanding as an aperitif but might make a very night accompaniment to the right meal.

More of a modern style SB. There is a touch of oak with the tropical fruit and slight grassy notes. Chard lovers will like this more than traditional SB lovers who prefer a crisper flavor profile.

Have to agree with some of the other reviews on this wine. It is rather big and creamy for a Sauvignon Blanc. In fact the weight and the texture are more like a chardonnay, which is something I like but not necessarily what you expect from a SB. The ripe tropical fruit is there, as expected, with only a hint of mineral. Went very well with a light fish and opened nicely throughout the evening as I continued to sample. …

One of my favorite wines of all times. A great example of what Sauvignon Blanc should aspire to be. So full of juicy flavor, wonderful nose, and great finish. If you have a choice between the 2008 and the 2009, go for the 2008. So much more flavor packed into that wonderful golden liquid.

Saturday Walk Around Tasting at The Gourmet Shop, Columbia, SC 1/26/2013 (The Gourmet Shop, Columbia, SC) : Lots of nice things to report with this wine. They used some oak, either in fermentation, maturation, or maybe both. Made in a rich creamy style. This is already a couple of years old and is really showing nice. This is one of those Sauvignon Blanc's with a lot more going than just fresh, grassy tropical fruit and acid. There is an underlying …

C: Deep, greeny gold N: Fantastic apricots and pineapple with a touch of vanilla, citrus and honeyed notes. Potentially slightly alcoholic, but it was served at nearly room temperature. Neither me nor my wife could stop smelling this wine. Great levels of complexity with something different popping out with each sniff. Enchanting.
