Reasonable, but didn't grab me. A bit rough and one dimensional.

Huge juicy black fruits nose. The palate is packed with ripe and juicy fruits with a little floral note but unfortunately very, very soft and lacking any real structure to hold it together. Not really a style of wine that I like.

Average, but in a good way that shouldn't put anybody off. Has some sweet dark fruit and wooden flavours. Quite smooth, lacking a tannic structure and acid. Thus there's no much character and depth to expect here, but overall I would say it's a good value and quite drinkable if you're looking for a reasonably priced wine from the supermarket around the corner.

Lots of black, ripe fruit with plenty of syrupy sweetness but also some fun licorice notes too. Clearly not elegant or refined but could be worse.

N: A bunch of aromas (herbaceous slightly atop some sort of berries -- rasps, possibly blacks). There's also something I can't quite put into words that I don't find attractive. P: Med body; bright flavors & acidity; While certainly pleasantly fresh (which was NOT the case on day 2), I doubt there's anything at all to be gained by cellaring this. Moreover, since that curious element on the nose also shows up on the finish...

Minimal legs. Fruit-forward with flavors of cherries, plums, maybe a bit of jam. Not a serious red, but a good option for a party wine or a daily drinker. Great with grilled burgers. A bargain at less than $7. Unfortunately, there was only one in the bargain bin! Drink now.

Tasted blind and could never guess neither the origin nor variety. Light, a little cloudy ruby color. Dried red berries in the nose on low intensity with wood and smoke. On the palate dry, light body, medium (-) tannin and acid, disappointing stucture, medium intense flavors of dried black berries, cottage cheese with paprika and earth, fairly long mouth-watering finish.

On glass purple and thin, yet is full and juicy on mouth showing a fruitful, chocolate profile, lacking depth, balance and maturity. The jammy gooseberry is unripe and mixed with undesirable scents and flavors of rot crushed fruit, rubber and stomach garlic breath. The palate shows great deal of unbalance along with spiritless tanins. It is quite cheap, if you need a red to cook with.

Popped and poured from a small bottle. Mineral(licorice) and dark fruit on the nose. Medium to full bodied, firm tannic grip, rather smooth, delivering dark fruit and licorice with a bit of dusty finish. A robust and good all-around wine with nice QPR.

No formal notes, but it had a certain grapey medicinal quality and very little typicity. A little smoke on the palate was all of the Malbec character that I got out of this wine. Nothing wrong or obviously poor wrong, though (i.e. no yeasty flavors or sour notes). "Average-to-good," 79/100.

I'm a little disappointed. When I popped the cork yesterday and took sip, it was pretty tight and unforgiving. So, I decanted and let it sit overnight. Today it is not very fruity, actually lost a little overnight. There is some not so good tasting, gritty, possibly artificial acid that does not go away. The color is right. The nose is a little shy but has outstanding black raspberry and cherry aromas. Lots of swishing around in the mouth releases …

Rich and and far too bursting for a malbec. A disappointment for anyone looking for something more representative of the region and varietal.
