C: med gold A: med int, developing Minerality, Hints of Oxidative notes, slightly cooked/warm/pear/apple,, Warm Citrus Spice T:med+/high acid, med+ body med intensity, long finish Rich round fruit, subtled tropical, pear apple, minerality, oak beautiful integrated conc: The Richness of the fruit masks the pretty high acid, and with the garlic soup just brightens the wine even more, pretty good pairing I must say Say drink up now, showing beautiful, Its elegant with a sublime power

Very ripe and buttery nose- toasty with vanillla, pear and lemon. On the palate this chard was more in the strain of a mersault than a chassagne... and then even, not so typically burgundy with its big ripe fruit and barrel presence. Not to say the oak was overdone, there was plenty of fruit to support it, and overall pretty well integrated. Surprisingly rich for an '04 with baked yellow orchard fruits and lemon curd notes framed by baking spices and vanillin (oak) with light wet stone.
