Notes from second night open. This has smoothed out and opened up a bit from the first night. Still deep brick in colour, with a bit of bricking on the edges. Redfruits, earth, smoke and garrigue on the nice, complex nose. Medium-full bodied on the velvety palate, with a similar profile as the nose, but some cherries and blackfruits as well. Really drinking nicely now, but will last several more years. Impressive Vacqueyras (A-).

Nice dark colour. Popped and poured into a decanter. After a half hour the nose was still pretty tight but the falvours were very nice showing lots of grenache. After an hour or so the nose came to the party. Rspberry and kirsch with a bit of thyme and earth. the finish and weight were very nice. Very nice. could hold for 4 or so years.
