Maison Leroy Fixin

Mature wines (FOF) : Light red color with a brown hue. Aromas of roses, cream caramel and cheese rind. Some fruit on the palate, rhubarb and sour cherries. Good fruit and acidity makes this light, elegant and feminine, with good balance. But some complexity and some more length are needed. A refreshing wine, that probably won't become more than it is now.

Orange/brown color. Barn, undergrowth, earth, mushrooms and a hint of strawberry on the nose. More fruit on the palate and lots of tertiary tones of age, here among leather, tobaco and a weak hint of olives. Good length on the palate, making it seem delicious and fresh, still a bit on the weak side.
