Bimbache Vin�cola El Hierro Bimbache Blanco

I've held this for a while based on reports I've seen - shy, closed off. I suspect from trying tonight it is a shorter haul wine and it may not have super long to go. But it's good, it has a lot of deliberate Canarian sulphur and some drive beyond. I don't see it as the same quality as for example Puro Rofe.

orange, slightly salmon. Funky nose, but clean. Blood orange, citrous peels, peachy, grapefruits. Also a bit of flinty, slightly reductive notes. On the palate some grip and tannins. High acidity, nice texture, not yet chewy but full of flavours. Med+ to intense, riper fruits than nose. Peach, ripe apricots, even a bit if mango and pineapples. But citrous still present. Very volcanic in nature. Sulphurous. Malodorous. But kind of fun. Cider and struck match.
