This versatile easy drinker has matured greatly from the predominantly available 2019 batches getting around. Its almost there, just a little longer.

Who in their right mind would go to the effort of cellaring a $7.80 wine for 5 years? Well I did (which may say something about the state of my mind), however it was well worth the effort. The wine has mellowed, smoothed out and is a pleasure to drink. Ripe, oaky restaurant styled Shiraz.

Horses for courses. This went down well with Indian food from Taj Mahal Restaurant in Canberra. Butter Chicken, Lamb Punjab and Beef Vindaloo. The wine is straight forward, fruity, light tannins and acid, nominal alcohol, minimal wood and pleasant drinking with food. Not a great red but a good quaffer. (The food was good too).

Great with steak

Bland, simple, uninteresting. It'll get you drunk I guess.
