Outstanding example of a quintessential Okanagan Syrah. Full body, high acidity, intensity and alcohol with medium tannin. The highlight is the intense pepper on the nose and palate accompanied by some black cherry flavour all leading to a lengthy finish. Outstanding.

Modern style, fair amount of oak imparting caramel and coffee notes over top of a luscious and slightly peppery red fruit core. Likely at its peak now, don't see it improving from here. Nice fruit, well made, easy match for burgers and a hockey playoff game.

Wine was very young but after a lengthy decant showed great pepper, spices, dark fruits and berries on the palate. Am looking forward to trying this again in a few years.
