Château de la Crée Santenay En Foulot

(Cote de Beaune w Guillaume) Similar nose with 2010. Slightly more controlled, lighter edge of dark fruit. Less funky, cleaner, more prominent sweet fruit. Rather complete on the palate. concentrated, focused, textural. Lovely, long yet ephemeral, and more sousbois. Very good stuff!

Very good wine that I would purchase again. Waited to long after drinking to enter it in cellartracker, but it had lots of character and a good finish.

Spicy, baked, cranberry, cherry tart. Sleek and focused with good concentration. Tangy acidity and herbal notes. Very elegant in it's weightless simplicity.

Effusive nose of dried red fruit, white spice, baked pastry dough and minerals. Medium bodied, tart cherry and dried cherry flavors. Broad, integrated tart acidity and soft, sweet tannins with a very subtle hint of bitter char. Good, balanced, somewhat sappy and smooth red burgundy. (*)

Smokey notes mix with a little sweet cherry and game; silky, medium weight, fine grippy tannins--this is very good, as usual.
