Neat nose on this one, black licorice and roses/floral notes with red fruit backing it up. The palate shows that black licorice right off the bat, bright red fruit with a tart edge, and light minerality/chalk. The acidity here is really bright and fresh, hanging through a medium length finish. This is a bigger, more modern feeling wine, and is very delicious is if that's what you're after.

Spicy and well structured Blaufränkisch with very smooth tannins and well matching acidity. Some Bordeaux-like gamey flavors and dark cherries and blackberries. Seems quite evolved already, but might be due to a bad cork (was very soaked). - 88 points

Short impressions: Youthful color, good grip and structure, nice acidity, earthy and manly but also restrained. Medium long, savoury finish. Very nice with food. Very good plus. Drink or hold.

Prettiest amont the bunch of wines tasted the day. Lots of florals, light strawberries and cherries. Very charming, nicely perfumed, very burgundian almost like a volnay / chambolle.

Alcohol 13% The best showing pinot of the day. Ripe, elegant and soft aromas with red fruits and wood. High acidity and concentration of fruits, spicy and slight rustic mouth feel and tannic finished. Not bad, good weight and the spice linger long to the finish. Skip.

Very gamey nose, rustic and sour unripe fruits. Light, fruity and very spicy on the palate. Fresh style with very high acidity. Surprisingly clean palate compared to the nose. Prominent sour cherry fruit with a hint of earthiness on the short to medium lenght finish. Not much structure or tannins. Drink now. - 85 points

Very typical Blaufränkisch from “almost Hungary”. Very good standard quality! Still young!

Short note: Very nice structure, a little reserved, rather an old world style, that doesn't seduce with fruitiness but rather with structure. Nice hint of oak, very clean. A great food wine. Approachable now but can age a few years. - 88 points
