what i enjoy from a good winery is consistency. it is just missing. one fine bottle followed by one i dump out the 2nd half. i am sorry to say be careful as the 2019's were totally terrible and then 2020 and 2021 good and BAD anyone what to buy what i have left???????

more like i was hoping for veru good. but sadly i cannot get over how terrible all of the 2019's were and as a result will not risk buying for the future. but if i knew i was going to get this i would buy. they never should have released any of the 19's

30 minute bottle decant. Medium-dark purple hue in the glass with a crazy nose of brambleberry, tar, olive brine, dried herbs, and licorice. Neither overtly bold nor taxing on the palate, but very refined, showing savory notes of damsons plum and grapefruit peel layered with smoked beef and some faint salinity. Very fine tannins, nearly silky, supported by lively acidity and a very long finish. One of the best Syrahs I’ve tasted.
