Domaine des Montillets Morgon Côte du Py Vieilles Vignes

This bottle benefited from 24 hours open half full, which smoothed out some of the rusticity of the previous bottle and added a touch of depth to the lively savoury fruit. Good.

There is lots of vigorous savoury fruit to enjoy as well as earthy minerals, decent acidity and some depth. However there was a bit of rustic roughness towards the finish which some may enjoy but I would prefer it somewhat smoother as could happen with a few months more evolution. Quite good now.
