- Crimsom color with aromas of blackberry and licorice anise and has flavors of dust and sherry.

Still slightly astringent, and tart. The Merlot steals the show, sweet fruit, plum and cherry. Not much in the way of spice or oak. Drinks like a fruity Syrah. Not sure why I like this so much, but I do. Could stand a few more years in the cellar to properly blend. If you like a fruit forward blend, look no further.
