Flavours of plum and blackberry, some leather and earth. Not a heavy body - it’s on the lighter side although the flavours do last in the mouth. Better after breathing for a while. Easy to drink.

This was good for a weeknight Priorat, but it's definitely an importer/marketers product--very international, lots of fruit, not a ton of acid. Partly that's where Priorat falls, mostly, because of climate. But also the style that put it on the map in the years of Parkerization. As the top end wines work for restraint, that market still exists, so importers fill it. Again, not bad, and very reasonable.

The wine is clear; however, it's shows signs of oxidation. While only 5 years old, this wine might be past its prime. The wine is a very deep garnet in color. The nose is composed of prunes, partially dried out oranges, just a hint of pine needles, dried dates, and polished leather. The palate is very consistent with the nose. This wine is bone dry with medium to medium+ acidity, the tannins are medium+, and the finish is medium+. Overall, …

This red showed good intensity on a graceful frame. Cherry & strawberry flavors mingle with fresh herb, vanilla & spice notes, supported by light, firm tannin & citrus-y acidity.

Good color. Needs two hours of decanting. Sweet red fruit. Nice mouthfeel. Decent length with medium complexity.

A very nice Priorat. Well made. The blend is 45% Grenache, 30% Mazuelo (Carignan) and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, but I don't think the Carignan adds much. Needs time.

Decanted this for a couple of hours and it softened a bit. That probably indicates the wine can age for several years. The tannins were tamer than last bottle.

Still young, with lots of potential. Strong tannins. Ripe black fruits. Not yet integrated. Would buy love more and keep for a few years.
