A lost leftover from the summer of 2015. Should have been drunk two summers ago but has the essential, Tempier-like dryness and acidity for interesting bottle-aging, however undeliberate.

Floral, spice, citrus and some grassy notes. Probably rated lower as a result of drinking it in the winter.

Seems perfectly balanced with all the elements.

We first had some local, organic strawberries with the first few sips, and I could have done that all night. There is NO acidity to wine, or any harshness at all. They harvest the grapes at time that avoid oxidation when processed, so it's "au naturale." The wine looks pink colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. Bright, clear pink; white flowers, peaches, cranberry, pepper, minerality. Med + acid, med body. Great with food or on its own and a stellar QPR. Found my house rosé for the summer!

For the price this is darn fine rose. Darn fine rose regardless of price. So the price is excellent.

Sancerre SB like aroma on the wine I am being told because of the clay compound in the soil. Which gives the grape fruit character to the wine. And well, its there.

Darn is that amazingly good, regardless of its cheap price tag.
