A bit thin and watery. Nothing objectionable but might as well have iced tea.

A bit boring and one dimensional. Light in flavor but not disappointing for the price.

A WSJ wine that mostly vin ordinaire. Plasant enough, but not distinguishing.

Nice fruit (which became more pronounced after an hour). Modest notes of spice, leather and earth. Very dry and acidic.

Super value Italian Paolo 09 Sangiovese, $10. Cherries, mint, cedar nose; mid-body, fruity finish. Equals $15+ wines. w/pasta (of course).

Good flavor but extremely light, like a very light Pinot noir, almost watery. Not for those looking for a typical red.
