Dumas Station Cow Catcher Red

An excellent QPR wine with some very distinct flavors moving across an surprisingly complex palate for this price point. A very nice midweight red blend with some very distinctive, but not in any way unpleasant wood, smoke, and berry, amongst others flavors. I've been wanting to try this wine for several years based on the professional reviews but have never run across it in a store. I will definitely buy more next time I see it.

39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 8% Syrah, 4% Petit Verdot. Minnick Hills, Birch Creek, and Nostra Terra vineyards. 16 months oak, 45% American, 5% French, 50% neutral.
