Rustic is a good description for this wine. Popped and poured, and it opened up as the evening progressed. I should have decanted for a couple of hours to soften the tannic edge and bring out the dark fruits flavors.

Beautiful, slightly rustic wine, which would benefit from a couple more years on a shelf or a couple of hours of breathing time. Cabernet is certainly front and center (I would not have guessed that this is a blend) - cassis is the dominant theme. I wish I had bought more.

A nice bdx blend with mixed red/black fruits and balsamic. Drinking well now but should continue to do so for several years. Medium tannins/acids that are integrating nicely.
