Nothing wrong with this tasty, fruit forward cab. Properly cellared, this one opens up nicely in about 30 minutes. Tasting blackberry, rich blueberry and white chocolate. Reminds me of a rich slice of cheesecake layered with creamy blueberries. I believe this will still be good at least another year, possibly two.

Dark coloring with decent grip on the stems. Green notes of underripe fruit and pine branches on the nose, with a healthy waft of stewed prunes. Medium-light weight, medium red fruit but again with an under-ripe flavor. Parts of the wine reflect the weakness of the vintage for many winemakers, other aspects indicate this is past its peak. Tossed out a third of the bottle.

Great Pina taste. Medium bodied. Complex red and dark fruit. A little heat, but in a good way. Austere marionberry, pomegranate come through mid palate. Nice lingering slightly plummy finish. Needs another year to calm down, but drinkable right now .
