{screwcap, 13.5%} Plums and chocolate. Very young still. Too young; should have left this. Although, the tannins are very soft and friendly; gentle dust no more; the wine is otherwise medium/full-bodied, ripe and rich, not sweet, with understated oak. Tastes per the nose; deep red and blue fruit prevails. Medium length finish, fair mid-palate, less towards the back. Sound, and some more time should help.

{screwcap, 13.5%} Deep ruby. Chocolate and plums. Rich, with some cedary oak too. intense aromas, medium/full-bodied palate with fine powdery tannins and medium acid. Very drinkable, still a bit young and primary. Warm, medium length finish. Tidy but needs time.

With a 12% can franc blend this has some real kick to it. Smooth with a great nose. Ready to drink now, or keep for 2 years
