Meaty, savory, very Chambolle, if thin. 90-91

Red berries, some leather and dry leaves, lean and and slightly firm. Not as ripe and concentrated as the bottle I had in 2022, but still quite enjoyable.

Great QPR for burgundy in my opinion.

유쾌한 실수덕분에 마실 수 있었던 와인인데 편안하게 즐길 수 있어서 좋았다. 코에서는 참 이상한 표현이지만 걸레빤 물같은 느낌이 난다. (평양냉면 같은 은음함..?) 입에서는 매끄럽고 부드럽게 넘어가긴 하는데 아주 약간 날선 느낌의 산도가 있긴 하다. 분명히 괜찮고 나쁘지 않은데 오늘은 대진운이 좋지 않았다.

Ripe, round, earthy and silky, with balancing acidity. This is approachable and delicious.

Two very welcoming and consistent bottles on this occasion tasted on the slopes too so not really ideal conditions either. The wine is quite open and delivers well and definitely a good wine for the age and pedigree. Bright , soft dark fruits, round on the palate and worked very well for the occasion. 90

Chambolle Musigny is a tiny commune in the Cote de Nuits. Chambolle Musigny was initially called Chambolle, but the addition of its prize vineyard Musigny was added in 1882 (famous for being one of only two burgundy grand cru sites to produce both pinot noir and chardonnay, the other is corton). Good acidity, but too one-dimensional. Drank alongside with Roumier Chambolle Musigny 2018, barely comparable.

Nuis Village. Some darker fruit nose - cherry / rasp. Fresh, but tight. Elegant and dry. Nice.

A touch of herb and spice to the nose, not grippy but certainly tight. A certain sense of elegance to the palate.

2017 Bouchard and William Fevres (chicago, IL) : The nose is feminine and high-toned with red fruits, raspberries, tart red cherries, leather, and roses. While the nose is fragrant, it does lack some depth. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and elegant with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins.
