Domaine Parigot Beaune 1er Cru Gr�ves

Quite lovely. Clean, balanced, very tasty. Still some Beaune tannin. I really like this. Ready, but a year or two won't hurt.

Needs time. Needs air. Colour not showing much age, reasonably dense. Nose attractive, not primary but still young. Mouthfeel very good, still somewhat tannic but quality is there. Drank over three days, better after some time and air. Some mouthfulls seemed just right, and some seemed tannic. It needs to be a bit on the cool side: when warm it seemed a bit hot. Maybe that will diminish with time. The next two bottles? Not for a few years.

Good 1er cru but there are better. But, having said that, it was very good with good acidity and tannins, well structured and balanced but lacked fruit in my estimation. More like a good Burgundian table wine. This all may be a result of its youth because the moral to the story is on day two it was much more expressive, silky mouth feel and much better than day one.
