American Bar at ENO (Death in Venice - Britten). Outstanding restaurant wine at a decent price. Full mouth feel, nectarines and pineapple with a perfectly integrated acidity. Rhonish. Good concentration and decent length. Accompanied my fellow opera buffs crab and tomato soup concoction perfectly and easily had the weight to partner my quail based starter. Will hunt this wine down for my cellar. Probably at its best now and for another year.

Light gold color. Drank 1+ glass over 30 minutes. Simple wine with citrus and a bit of a bitter edge on the finish.
