2022 Port Harvest Tour; 9/22/2022-10/2/2022 (Porto, Portugal) : Bottled in 2020, this wine has an amber-brown color. The nose offers enticing aromas of cocoa powder, caramel, and hints of old dark wood. The flavor profile is rich, intense, and smooth, unveiling vanilla, dried fruit, and delightful torrefacted sugars. Despite its velvety mouthfeel and elegant character, there's underlying power in this wine. The overall quality is outstanding, and it has a wonderful, long finish.

A very good tawny; though tawny really does remind you it's not vintage. Wow theres a difference. No where near the depth or richness. But an enjoyable easy drinking the hotel room. Pine Cliffs, Algarve. Sold at the local families boutique wine store who are championing Prelada over the big port houses.

Too cloying to call refreshing, but certainly pleasant and enjoyable. Plummy and raisin notes dominate the mid palate, but some orange and almond notes also manifest themselves. Great length, this lingers and warms your throat with more layered complexity. Among all of the great qualities of good Port, is the layering and complexity which …
