This arrived by the glass ( from a freshly opened bottle) , gift from the sommelier at Niko Romero @ Bulgari , Milan. While discussing Verdicchio as a grape ( we were drinking 2020 Azienda Agricola Bucci Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Riserva Villa Bucci - Papies 90) this arrived as an example to see where this grape can go when made in small batches and from carefully selected Terroir. From the glass list at In Vino Veritas wine bar, Modena. Late afternoon glass overlooking the Duomo of Modena - very pleasant. Similar to the’19 I tried a few days ago this was classic VdCdJ - golden fruit, tangy acidity and saline finish.
