Egon Muller, Scharzhofberger Riesling Spatlese Auction, Mosel

Took a bottle to Contra for my bday. When opened this was good, but not great, it seemed like a high-quality mature riesling: aromas of apples, baked apple with a bit of lime, some honey, spices, a bit of caramel, and some minerality.
