Definitely a wow Pinot-worth the patience to enjoy! Give it a nice decant to let it put on a show.

One hour decant. Dark, tart monolithic fruit. Expansive mouthfeel and firm, finely tannic structure but doesn’t deliver much follow through on the mid palate or finish.

Not sure what is going on with this bottle. Flavor profile and mouthfeel both a bit on the thin side. Hoping time is a friend. Above average Pinot but below average KB.

In its peak time. still a few years left but at its best. Deep, complex fruit with a little cherry and tame tanins. definitely a completely integrated wine at this point

A very good showing by this bottle tonight. Served a glass each to 4 of us before going out to a new pub in town for dinner. Wonderful aromatic KB nose. This was the 64th bottle of KB we've had going back to the 2003 Sonoma bottling and they remain a favorite of ours.

In a fabulous spot. Red cherry moving to dark cherry & dark fruits. Acidity sufficient to handle food but not dominate the palate. WOTN.

Delightful Pinot. Still lively with fresh fruit. Black and red cherry flavors intermingle with some Asian plum. I thought I caught some hints of caramel as well. Really drinking outstanding at this juncture. Silky mouthfeel and medium weight. Gap's Crown always provides excellent fruit and this bottle in no exception.

Very good with roasted rack of lamb and veggies. Nose of expansive ripe plum, raspberries and pomegranate. Nice long palate of juicy plum, spice, mineral soil of iron and oak. More of black tea with berries that intermingle with firm acids, minimal tannins and super long finish.

This was nothing shy of amazing Smooth as silk with complex fruit and a fantastic lingering finish with some oak tones

Delicious fruit and wonderful balance - was really good with some baked ham. Sipping my last glass of it now after dinner - it's smooth, like drinking velvet in a glass!
