This dark and bold. I liked it tonight but it will continue to be tasty for years to come. There's dark berries with robust earth and spice. I like the subtle funky aromas as well.

I can officially debunk any notion that this wine is nearing the end of its drinking window (the community note); instead, it is still very tight and only began to show its true flavors (cherry, spicebox, cedar) after it was open for about 4 hours. Tannins pronounced but not harsh on the finish, but need to settle down a bit. Drink 2011-2017.

Aromatic, tobacco, cocoa, currant and coffee nose. Full, dry and assertive palate with ripe, solid tannins; very good fruit and finish. Excellent value. 4.5/5

Not sure about the origins of this wine- imported by Glazer's solely for La Cave? A good satellite location, well balanced fruit and acid, a little alcoholic on the finish, but a great value and it will hold for several years at least. Ready to drink.
